General Instructions for Parents

1. Day to Day Guidelines:

• Ensure your child attend school regularly and arrives on time.
• Your child must be accompanied into the school. Please greet a staff member as you arrive.
• When picking up your child, please let a staff member know.
• If someone other than yourself is picking up your child, please inform a member of staff.

2. Health and Safety

• Keep your child home if they are unwell to prevent the spread of illness.
• Inform the school about any medical conditions or allergies your child has.

3. School Policies

• Familiarize yourself with the school’s policies or discipline, dress code and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure your child adheres to these policies.

4. Familiar with the Staff and Environment:

•  Visit the LCS to become familiar with the setting. The more familiar your child is with the school staff and the environment, the easier it will be for your child to settle into the pre-school.

5. Transportation and Pick-up:

• Follow the school’s guidelines for drop-off and pick-up times.
• Ensure your child understands transportation safety rules.
